The National Museum of Qatar gives voice to Qatar's rich heritage and culture. We welcome diverse communities to our vibrant and immersive space to come together to experience Qatar's Past, Present, and Future. The building was designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, who was inspired by the desert rose crystal.

Founded in 2008, the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) was one of the first projects initiated by Qatar Museums. Designed by the renowned Chinese American architect I. M. Pei, MIA is a globally acclaimed museum that stands majestically on Doha’s Corniche, with panoramic views of the city’s waterfront. The museum showcases Qatar’s world-class collection of Islamic art from the 7th to the 20th centuries.

Visit Doha’s first premium garment manufacturing hub, where visionary CEO Ghada Al Subaey and her team transform ideas into Made in Qatar fashion. The Cutting Studio is a creative space for designers to grow, collaborate, and embrace sustainable practices.

We will tour Msheireb—an area with award-winning architecture that blends Qatari heritage with modern design—and explore M7, Doha’s dynamic hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in fashion, design, and tech. Together, these experiences offer an inspiring journey through creativity and culture at the heart of the city.

Built on the site of Doha’s century old trading market, on the banks of the Wadi Musheireb, Souq Waqif feels like an anachronism, particularly against the backdrop of Doha’s dramatic modern skyline. With its mud-daubed buildings, the market harkens to a bygone era while remaining a hub of activity, where commerce and gossip collide. 

Wander around Doha’s latest development – a picturesque neighbourhood of quaint cobbled streets and pastel-coloured buildings where you can spot cruise ships docking and visit a stunning fish market.
